Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting
Swayfield, Lincolnshire
Held on 10th May 2022 in the Village Hall, Corby Road, Swayfield
preceding the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council
The Meeting began at 7:30pm. Present were the members of the Parish Council and one members of the public, and the Parish Clerk. Apologies received from Cllr Metcalf, Cllr Holden and Cllr Roberts.
- The Chairman, Cllr Frere-Cook requested the Councillors observe a moments silence in memory of Mrs Barbara De Heveningham who passed away April 20th. Mrs Heveningham had acted as Parish Clerk to Swayfield for more than 20years.
1.0 To agree the Minutes of the May 2021 Annual Parish Meeting. Having previously been circulated to the Councillors, they were agreed unanimously.
2.0 Annual Report of the Parish Council. The Chairman thanked the Councillors for all their work during the year. The Chairman’s report will be posted on the notice board and PC Website.
3.0 District and County Councillors' Reports. None.
4.0 Financial report for year ending 31st March 2022. The Clerk presented the Year End Statement for 2021-22. The Statement was agreed unanimously.
5.0 Electors’ concerns. Cllr Geeson spoke of the need to provide a “Give Way” sign at the junction of Corby Road and High Street, eastern end. Cllr Green will discuss this with Highways as well as the need to renew the white lines at the same junction.
